Siddharth gets ready for Lucia

Siddharth is currently busy shooting for Vasanthabalan's period film 'Kaaviya Thalaivan'. The film shooting is in its final stages. His other film Jigarthanda directed by Karthik Subbaraj is in the post production stage. The film will hit the screens in January 2014.

Siddharth will next commence shoot for Tamil remake of Kannada film Lucia. The film has been titled 'Lucia' in Tamil as well. Lucia will start rolling in January. It will be produced by CV Kumar's 'Thirukumaran Entertainment'. The film will be directed by debutante Prasad Ramar and music by Santhosh Narayanan.

Siddharth who is preparing for his role in Lucia has tweeted, "Spent the day in the slums researching the things people say and do. Lots of prep & homework for ‘Lucia’ once I finish Kaaviyathalaivan.Content rich,author backed roles."

Kannada film Lucia directed by Pawan Kumar is one of the most talked about film this year. Reportedly made on a moderate budget of 50 lakhs, "Lucia" is the first crowd-funded film in Kannada. How a magic pill called 'Lucia' changes the life of an insomniac once and for all is the crux of the film. The film earned critical acclaim from critics and audiences alike.
