It has now been officially confirmed that actor Ajith's Good Bad Ugly will release on April 10, 2025 (Thursday). This gives the film a five day opening weekend until the Tamil New Year on April 14, 2024 (Monday). Good Bad Ugly's release date announcement comes days after it was revealed that actor Ajith's other movie Vidaamuyarchi, has been delayed from its January 10, Pongal 2025 release owing to copyright dispute with the makers of the Hollywood film Breakdown (1997). 

A Mythri Movie Makers production, Good Bad Ugly is written and directed by Aadhik Ravichandran, and also stars Trisha Krishnan, Prabhu, Jayaram, Prasanna, Harish Uthaman, Arjun Das, Sunil, M. S. Bhaskar, Rahul Dev, Vaiyapuri, Yogi Babu among others.

Romeo Pictures is releasing Good Bad Ugly in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala. The technical crew of this film includes GV Prakash Kumar for music, Abinandhan Ramanujam for cinematography, and Vijay Velukutty for edits. T-series music label is the official audio partner on Good Bad Ugly.
