Pushpa 2: The Rule starring Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Sreeleela among others is out in theaters now, and the movie has been earning praises from critics overall. While Pushpa 2's runtime is a whopping 3 hours and 20 minutes, the film censor board in Saudi Arabia has cut it down to 3 hours and 1 minute.
Pushpa 2's 'Jathara scene' which reportedly cost Rs. 60 Cr. in budget, and is pivotal to the narrative of the movie, has been censored out in Saudi Arabia. Allu Arjun, a man is dressed as a female Hindu goddess in this scene, and Saudi being both conservative and Muslim, is said to have objected screening the scene due to religious and other reasons.

A production venture of Mythri Movie Makers, Pushpa 2: The Rule has been Pushpa 2 has been released in six languages in over 12,000 screens worldwide. The movie is written and directed by Sukumar, and comes as a sequel to the action drama Pushpa: The Rise (2021).
