Purampokku Heroine finalised

Arya and Vijay Sethupathy will play the lead roles in 'Purampokku' to be directed by S.P.Jhananathan of 'E' and 'Peranmai' fame. The film deals with illegal acquisition of 'Purampokku' lands by people with power. The film's leading lady has been finalised. Karthika Nair of Ko fame will play the female lead. Interestingly the film will have only one heroine though there are two heroes.

Karthika Nair's last film Annakodi directed by Bharathiraja failed miserably at the Box Office. Her other project in Tamil is Arun Vijay's 'Deal'. 

Arya will play the role of a social activist, who has strong principles. Vijay Sethupathi will essay the role of a railway khalasi, who does all the helping work within the railway department.

The film is produced by UTV Motion Pictures. The First Look of the film will be revealed on New Year. The film will go on floors in January 2014.
