Lyca Productions, the banner behind Rajinikanth's October 10 release Vettaiyan has now officially announced the movie's worldwide box-office collection. Taking to their social media pages on Monday, Lyca Productions confirmed that Vettaiyan's box-office has crossed Rs. 240 Cr+ globally. 

Vettaiyan is currently in day 5 of its theatrical run, and previously MovieCrow had reported that the estimated Vettaiyan box office in opening weekend collections i.e. the gross in the first four days of release is Rs. 200.19 Cr+. 

Also starring Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan among others, Vettaiyan is written and directed by TJ Gnanavel, has screenplay by B Kiruthiga and Anirudh Ravichander for music. The box-office announcement poster from Lyca Productions featured an image of Rajinikanth celebrating the success with the team.
