Vettaiyan starring Rajinikanth in the lead is gearing up for a worldwide release on October 10, 2024. The film written and directed by TJ Gnanavel has two songs composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Hunter Vantaar, the second single from Vettaiyan had a lyric video release on Saturday, and just like the song, the video pays homage to Rajinikanth's legacy too. 

The graphical Hunter Vantaar lyric video references many of Rajini's famous hits like Jailer (2023), Sivaji: The Boss (2007), Baasha (1995), Padayappa (1999), Baba (2002), Petta (2019), Padikkadavan (1985), Enthiran (2010), among others. The video also references 1975 - the year Rajinikanth came into the movies with the K. Balachander directed Apoorva Raagangal. 

Hunter Vantaar has lyrics by Arivu, and vocals by Siddarth Basrur. The dialogues in the song are by Superstar Rajinikanth, while the widely liked Veena piece is by Malavikka Rajhesh. Other Hunter Vantaar music credits:
