Dhanush and Aanand L Rai Reunite for 'Tere Ishk Mein,' A Sequel to 'Raanjhanaa' Filming Begins End of 2024

Dhanush is reuniting with filmmaker Aanand L Rai for the next film Tere Ishk Mein, a sequel to the 2013 smash Raanjhanaa, in which he previously starred. The film is described as a hardcore love story, and filming is set to begin at the end of this year, with a release date of early 2025.

 

Following the success of Raanjhanaa and Atrangi Re, this is Dhanush's third collaboration with Aanand L Rai. Tere Ishk Mein, which has been officially announced for 2023, is intended to have the same emotional depth and storytelling that enthralled audiences in the original. While Dhanush's return is confirmed, casting for the female protagonist is still underway, with the team looking for an actress who can match his strong on-screen chemistry.
