Popular Tamil film director Nelson Dilipkumar, who has movies like Nayanthara starrer Kolamaavu Kokila (2018), Sivakarthikeyan's Doctor (2021), Vijay's Beast (2022) and Rajinikanth's Jailer (2023) to his credit, is making his debut as a film producer with a movie titled Bloody Beggar.

Bloody Beggar stars actor Kavin in the lead, who gained acclaim with the coming-of-age rom-com Dada (2023). On Monday, Nelson Dilipkumar's production banner Filament Pictures, confirmed that Bloody Beggar is releasing for Diwali, 2024.

Diwali falls on October 31 (Thursday) this year, however a Bloody Beggar release date is yet to be officially announced. Also starring Redin Kingsley in a supporting role, Bloody Beggar has Sujith Sarang for cinematography, Jen Martin for music, R. Nirmal for edits. The film will be meeting Kamal Haasan produced Amaran starring Sivakarthikeyan, at the box-office.
