Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK) is actor Dhanush's third film as director following Raayan (2024), and Pa Paandi (2017). A romantic comedy, NEEK comes with an ensemble of debutant Pavish (Dhanush's nephew), Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Mathew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, and Ramya Ranganathan.

NEEK's first single is titled Golden Sparrow, and the song's release date has now been officially announced as August 30, 2024 (Friday). Actress Priyanka Mohan makes a special appearance in the Golden Sparrow song. Whether or not, Dhanush's extended cameo character of NEEK appears in the film's first single, remains to be seen. 

A production venture of Dhanush's home banner Wunderbar Films, and RK Productions, Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam has music by GV Prakash. This bygone weekend i.e. Friday night (August 23), composer GV Prakash had updated of shooting with his director Dhanush for NEEK. He shared an image with the caption, "Shoot time with my director @dhanushkraja… #neek fever is on"
