• Plot: Gandhi (Vijay) is a retired hostage negotiator, field agent and spy of an agency named the Special Anti-Terrorist Squad (SATS), which coordinates with the RAW, and is based in Chennai. Consequences of an unknown past haunt the present special anti-terrorist squad, and forces Gandhi to return to SATS. How he confronts it along with his team (Prashanth, Prabhu Deva) and son Jeevan (also Vijay), and stops a looming bomb threat in Chennai, is what forms the rest of the story.
