Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Keerthy Suresh in a voice role, Disha Patani, among others, is an upcoming mythology based sci-fi action, that is all set to release in theaters on June 27, 2024 [Thursday]. The movie written and directed by Nag Ashwin, has now been revealed to come with a runtime of 178 minutes i.e. 2 hours and 58 minutes. Kalki 2898 AD is expected to clear censor with an U/A. 

With only 8 days left for the film's release, the makers of Kalki 2898 AD have unveiled a new character poster from the movie. Actress Shobana who was seen for a split second in the Kalki 2898 AD trailer has been revealed to play Mariam, whose 'ancestors waited just like her too'. 

A Vyjayanthi Movies production, Kalki 2898 AD has Santhosh Narayanan for music. The movie is a dystopian era interpretation of the Hindu religion's Mahabharata - Kalki Yuga lore, and has all actors playing characters based on that era.
