Kalki 2898 AD is an upcoming science fiction action, written and directed by Nag Ashwin and starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Keerthy Suresh as the voice of Bujji, the BU-JZ-1 vehicle among others. A Vyjayanthi Movies production, Kalki 2989 AD is a dystopian world reinterpretation of Vishnu, a Hindu god, who is believed to have descended to earth to protect the world from evil forces.

Kalki 2989 AD releases in theaters on June 27, 2024 [Thuesday], and latest we hear besides the starry ensemble several surprise cameos are also part of the movie. Actors Dulquer Salmaan who like Keerthy Suresh has worked with Nag Ashwin on their multiple National award winning film Mahanati (2018), is said to be making a special appearance in Kalki 2989 AD. 

Other actors who will me seen in cameo appearances in the Prabhas lead film are Vijay Deverakonda, Mrunal Thakur and veteran dancer-actress Shobana.
