Writer, director Sudha Kongara who has full length Tamil feature films like Drohi (2010), Irudhi Suttru (2016), and Soorarai Pottru (2020) to her credit, announced in March this year that her announced movie with Suriya i.e. 1965: Purananooru has been indefinitely delayed.

Latest we hear, Sudha Kongara is prepping to begin a new movie, and buzz in the Tamil film circles is that actor Sivakarthikeyan will most likely play her hero. 

Actors Silamabarasan TR and 'Chiyaan' Vikram have also been associated to Sudha Kongara's next film, and it remains to be seen which of these stars comes on board the movie.
