The story of Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil revolves around Kaitholapparambil Vinu Ramachandran (Basil Joseph) who due to a chain of unforeseen set of events, ends up marrying someone else and not his fiancée on his wedding day at Guruvayoor Temple. What roles Anand (Prithviraj Sukumaran), his wife Parvathy (Nikhila Vimal), Anand's sister Anjali (Anaswara Rajan) and others play in this event, forms the rest of the story.

Written by Deepu Pradeep, and directed by Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey (2022) fame Vipin Das, Guruvayoorambala Nadayil comes with a runtime of 134.41 minutes. The movie marks the Malayalam debut of Tamil comedy actor Yogi Babu, and has music by Ankit Menon.
