Pushpa 2: The Rule starring Allu Arjun in the titular role is an upcoming action drama sequel, written and directed by Sukumar. The digital rights of this Telugu film has been bagged by Netflix, and reportedly for a record breaking price of Rs. 275 Cr. 

Telugu movies have always made big bucks from their OTT rights, and Baahubali filmmaker SS Rajamouli's RRR, was previously the record holder for the highest OTT rights sale at Rs. 170 Cr. 

Pushpa 2: The Rule, which stars Rashmika Mandanna as female lead will stream on Netflix in all its dubbed versions as well. The movie produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, is scheduled to release in theaters on August 15, 2024 for Indian Independence day.
