Actor Naveen Chandra wooed the Tamil cine audience last year by playing the menacing DSP Rathna Kumar in the Karthik Subbaraj directed Jigarthanda Double X (2023). Now the actor is back with a horror series titled Inspector Rishi, which is all set to premiere as an Amazon Prime Video original. Inspector Rishi's OTT release date has been confirmed by the streaming platform as March 29, 2024 [Friday].

Created by Nandhini JS, Inspector Rishi is a 10-episode horror crime series that traces the journey of a skeptical inspector Rishi Nandhan (Naveen Chandra), when he sets out to investigate a series of peculiar murders, entwined with supernatural occurrences.

Inspector Rishi will be available to stream in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada languages. The crime horror series also stars Sunainaa, Kanna Ravi, Malini Jeevarathnam, Srikrishna Dayal, Kumaravel among others.
