[Updated: January 27, 2024] The grand audio launch of Tamil language sports drama Lal Salaam - starring Rajinikanth in a special appearance, is all set to take place at Chennai's Sairam Engineering College this evening. All AR Rahman composed songs for the Lal Salaam album are also expected to be unveiled today marking the occassion. So far two songs from the movie titled Ae Pulla and Ther Thiruvizha have been released.
While the Lal Salaam songs released so far are folky - Ae Pulla a romantic melody on Vishnu Vishal, Ananthika Sanilkumar, and the the 7-minute Ther Thiruvizha a festive track, it remains to be seen how the rest of the album sounds. AR Rahman will also be performing the Lal Salaam songs at the audio launch event today.
Actors Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth who play lead characters of cricket players belonging to Hindu, Muslim religions in Lal Salaam, are expected to be present at the Lal Salaam audio launch event this evening. Rajinikanth's speech is also expected to be a major highlight especially since the last time the star actor spoke at an audio launch event, it became a trending topic for days.

Lal Salaam tracklist (view below) is expected to be unveiled prior to the audio launch event. Sony Music label holds the audio rights to Lal Salaam, co-written and directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, and produced by Lyca Productions.
