The OTT release date of Prabhas lead Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire has been officially announced by Netflix as January 20, 2023 [Saturday]. Salaar will make its digital premiere at midnight i.e. 12:00 AM, and will be available to stream in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada languages.

Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire released in theaters on December 22, 2023, and is making its OTT debut on its 30th day of run. Salaar, written and directed by Prashanth Neel of KGF movies fame, is a period action that primarily revolves in a dystopian place called Khansaar. The movie comes with a runtime of 175 minutes.

Also starring Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran in dual roles, Tamil actors Shruti Haasan, Bobby Simha, John Vijay, Mime Gopi, Kannada actor Devaraj, Hindi actor Tinnu Anand and Telugu actors Jagapathi Babu, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy among others, Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire is a production venture of Hombale Films. 

Salaar's technical crew is the same as that of KGF franchise's, and includes Ravi Basrur for music (KGF: Chapter 1, KGF: Chapter 2), Bhuvan Gowda for cinematography (KGF: Chapter 1, KGF 2) and Ujwal Kulkarni for edits (KGF: Chapter 2).
