Bigg Boss Tamil 7 leaves Kamal Haasan dealing with red card, unfair eviction, bully gang controversies!

PUBLISHED DATE | 07/Nov/2023

Ardent fans of Bigg Boss Tamil 7 show are currently busy slandering actor Kamal Haasan on social media, for the host seems to have dropped a bombshell on them by not stopping the eviction of a popular yet problematic contestant. Contestant Pradeep Antony was evicted from the Bigg Boss house on November 4, 2023 in an intervention sort of way, rather the conventional nominated-for-eviction and let the public voting decide way.

To preface this, it is worth mentioning that the producers of the Bigg Boss show and the channel (Vijay TV) hosting it, have on paper that they retain the complete rights to evict a participating contestant, at anytime during the run of the show. The channel or the show stepping in to evict a contestant without public voting, is not uncommon in the history of Bigg Boss either.

Pradeep Antony's exit has been tagged as 'unfair eviction' by his supporters online, since they feel the contestant wasn't give a chance to explain or justify his actions. However regular watchers of the show also agree that said contestant has a pattern of crossing lines, be it with his suggestive language or shock-value actions.

Pradeep's acts like not locking the door while using the restroom, to getting overtly comfortable in the choice of topics with the female contestants, landed in him with a red-card, once the contestants (both male and female) put forth their uneasiness with it. What the housemates and probably Pradeep himself didn't expect, was that the show will decide to evict him on spot for the same.

A group of contestants namely Maya Krishnan, Jovika, Poornima, Aishwarya, Nixen, tagged the 'Bully Gang' by social media, are currently being vilified for voicing out complaints against Pradeep Antony. Contestants Manichandra and Raveena who voiced extremely concerning complaints about Pradeep, have somehow managed to escape this ongoing vilification.

Contestants Vichitra and wild card entry Archana, who had also faced the toxic brunt of Pradeep Antony are on his side for some reason. The duo post his eviction have raked up a storm inside the Bigg Boss 7 house, much to the delight of Pradeep Antony supporters outside.

Pradeep Antony for his part doesn't seem as affected by the eviction itself, as he is by the red-card that was issued to him in the name of being 'unsafe for women'. Usually evicted contestants either course correct or go into complete shade-mode once they re-emerge on social media. Given the level of shade thrown at Kamal Haasan on the Ulaganayagan's 69th birthday, Pradeep Antony seems to have chosen the latter.
