Jailer Audio Launch passes claimed in record time! Twitter (X) reacts

Rajinikanth starrer Jailer, written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar is an upcoming action thriller that is all set to release in theaters from August 10, 2023. The movie is currently gearing up for an audio launch event on July 28, 2023, and Sun Pictures had put up 1000 free passes for 500 people to grab (2 each) at 1 PM today. Fans who were alerted from Sunday 11 AM had waited more than 24 hours to try and get their hands on a pair.  

The production banner later announced that all Jailer audio launch passes were claimed in a record time of 15 seconds, sending the fans into a total frenzy. Bittersweet emotions seemed to linger all around, with Rajini fans divided among being happy about the record, sad about not being able to claim passes and disappointed about not getting confirmation messages from Sun Pictures which ensures the pass claim.

 

Some Rajinikanth fans were also busy defending the promotional stunt, after it was tagged 'a scam'. Others indulged in usual Twitter (rebranded as X today) humour, nudging Sun Pictures to put up more free passes for the event.   

 

 

 

 

Jailer is a multi-starrer with names like Mohanlal, Tamannaah, Shivarajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Ramya Krishnan among others in it. The movie's audio launch event will see all these stars in attendance at the Nehru indoor stadium at Chennai.
