Superstar Rajinikanth plays a police officer named Muthuvel Pandian in Jailer. With 23 days left for film's release, the plot/story of the film has been revealed on major ticketing websites recently. 

Plot: A gang tries to rescue their leader from prison. While others are stuck with a problem, the jailer of the prison shows up to stop them all.

 

Update: Contrary to the ticketing sites, industry buzz suggests that Jailer plot is about idol abduction. We will get the actual synopsis post censor process.

Jailer releases in theaters worldwide on August 10, 2023. The movie is written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures.
