Actors Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara have reunited as the lead pair for an upcoming Tamil movie titled Iraivan, which is written and directed by I. Ahmed of Vaamanan (2009), Endrendrum Punnagai (2013) and the Jolly LLB remake Manithan (2016) fame. The movie's release date has now been officially announced as August 25, 2023. A psychological horror thriller, Iraivin has Jayam Ravi playing a cop and the movie has Yuvan Shankar Raja for music, Hari K Vedanth for cinematography and Manikanda Balaji for edits. The film's post theatrical OTT rights in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages are with Netflix streaming platform.
