Project K (tentative title) is an upcoming Telugu-Hindi bilingual starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani among others, and the sci-fi movie is written and directed by Nag Ashwin of Mahanati (2018) fame. Tollywood production house Vyjayanthi Movies is bankrolling this project and recently producer Ashwani Dutt revealed some updates about his ambitious film. 

Micky J Meyer who was originally supposed to compose music for Project K, is no longer part of the movie. Tamil composer Santhosh Narayanan and a female Bollywood composer have been roped in for the film's music instead. Project K is 70% complete and both Deepika and Amitabh Bachchan only have 7-10 days of shooting left.

Project K is a VFX-heavy film and the makers began work on the same with 5 different VFX companies 5 months ago. The action/stunts have been choreographed by masters from US, South Africa, along with our local Indian talent. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on January 12, 2024 for the Pongal/Sankranti weekend.
