AK 62 (tentative title) is actor Ajith's 62nd film which is a production venture of the banner Lyca Productions. Tamil director Vignesh Shivan was initially signed to direct the project but for reasons best known to the team, he is no longer part of the project. Along with Vignesh Shivan, composer Anirudh too seems to be out of AK 62 for latest buzz is that Santhosh Narayanan is the frontrunner to compose for AK 62. 

Director Magizh Thirumeni's name has also been associated with AK 62, but official announcements on the new director and music composer of the project remains to be made.
