Varisu directed by Vamshi Paidipally is a family action entertainer that released in Tamil on January 11, 2023. A sneak peek video from the movie featuring lead actors Vijay, Rashmika Mandanna and comedian Yogi Babu has now been unveiled. A dialogue in this scene where Vijay says, "Starting iruku Ending Iruku Emotions Iruku" [There is starting, there is ending there are emotions] seems to have inspired producer Dil Raju's speech at the Varisu audio launch*, that has since become meme fodder.

*Dil Raju while talking about Varisu had said, "Dance venuma dance iruku, fight venuma fight iruku, Vijay sir body language scenes venuma adhu iruku, finally emotions also iruku". This translates to 'want dance? there is dance. Want fight? there is fight. Want scenes with Vijay sir body language? That is there, finally emotions are also there'.

Vijay plays a business tycoon's youngest son in Varisu, and he gets chosen as the next heir, much to the dismay of his elder brothers. How Vijay's eponymous character reunites his broken family and saves the business from rivals is what forms the rest of the story.
