Tamil film audience may remember that in 2016 actor Vikram was famously prepping to star in the official remake of Don't Breathe, a 2014 American thriller written by Fede Álvarez and Rodo Sayagues. That remake never took off even after Vikram's renewed interest in 2020, but audience got to witness a sequel titled Don't Breathe 2 on August 13, 2021.

Don't Breathe 2 made its OTT premiere on Netflix [and will be available to stream there till December 17], and now the movie is all set for a Sony Liv premiere in India. The OTT release date of Don't Breathe 2 has been confirmed as December 18, 2022.

Don't Breathe 2 will stream in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Bhojpuri, Punjabi and Oriya languages. The movie takes place 8 years after the events of its prequel, where the blind man (Stephen Lang) has now started a new life with his adopted daughter. The rampage he goes on when she becomes the target of a new set of home invaders is what Don't Breathe 2 is about.
