Actress Nayanthara made a less-than-a-minute special appearance, in a dance number (Local Boys) of director Durai Senthilkumar's 2013 movie Ethir Neechal. Almost a decade later, the actress is teaming up with the filmmaker for a movie that will star her in the central role.

Tentatively titled NT 81, the film is produced by Nayanthara's husband Vignesh Shivan and his banner Rowdy Picutres unveiled the first look poster of the movie marking the actress' birthday. The poster features her hand affectionately touching a tusked elephant, hinting that the movie could be animal based.

 An official announcement on NT 81's other cast and crew is currently awaited.
