Amazon Prime Video, streaming partner of Ponniyin Selvan: Part One (PS-I) has made the movie available for rent via an early access starting today. This means that the Mani Ratnam directed period drama can be rented for a short amount of time, if one wishes to watch the movie before its formal OTT release on November 4, 2022 i.e. Friday. 

Ponniyin Selvan I is currently available to rent for Rs. 199 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages. This means that after purchasing the movie for the said amount, viewers will have 30 days validity to start the movie. Once started, the movie can be watched anytime for the next 48 hours.  

This rent option by Amazon Prime Video for Ponniyin Selvan I is active from October 28, 2022 - November 3, 2022. Starting November 4, the movie will stream for free for active Amazon Prime Video subscribers. 

PS-I starring Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha is set in the Chola empire of 969 AD and follows a story filled with conspiracies, mysteries, political turmoil and impending war.
