The test shoot of Vikram starrer Chiyaan 61 (tentative title) recently took place at Chennai and the movie is all set to begin shooting at Kadappa, Andhra Pradesh from October 17, 2022 i.e. Monday. At this time, MovieCrow learns that the actress Rashmika Mandanna is no longer part of this Pa. Ranjith directed period film.

The actress' scheduling conflicts is said to be the reason behind her exit from Chiyaan 61 and MovieCrow also learns that the makers are currently in talks with Master actress Malavika Mohanan to replace Rashmika. 

Chiyaan 61 is produced by Studio Green and is set against the backdrop of Kolar Gold Fields (KGF). The movie is based on real life story of Tamil KGF miners during British India, and plans to release in 3D.
