Actor Ajith's visit to the Trichy Rifle Club on July 27, 2022 to participate in the 47th Tamil Nadu State Rifle Shooting Championship had created a furore both in the city and on social media. Now it has been revealed that the star actor ended up bagging 6 medals from the event, 4 in gold and 2 in bronze. The official list of medals won by Ajith can be seen in the image below:

After learning of Ajith's presence in the city, scores of fans inlcuding women and children gathered outside the Trichy Rifle Club to catch a glimpse of the actor. 'Thala' as he is fondly known by fans patiently posed for some of them. Police had to be brought in to control the crowd and only after Ajith took the time to wave out to them, was the star able to make it to the airport.
