Vaathi (titled Sir in Telugu) is an upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual starring Dhanush in the lead and it has now been officially announced that the movie's first look poster will be unveiled on July 27, 2022 (Wednesday). Teaser of Vaathi/Sir will be released the next day i.e. July 28, 2022 (Thursday).

Touted to be an action drama, Vaathi is written and directed by Venky Atluri and has National award winning composer GV Prakash for music. The movie also stars Samyuktha Menon, P. Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani among others and is produced by Sithara Entertainments, Srikara Studios and Fortune Four Cinemas.
