Actor Suriya's next film is Vaadivaasal with director Vetrimaaran, which is based on a novel of the same name by C.S. Chellappa and has Suriya playing a Jallikattu bull-tamer. The movie is a production venture of Kalaipuli S Thanu's V Creations and Zee Studios and buzz has it that the film's first glimpse will be unveiled on July 23, 2022 i.e. Suriya's birthday. An official announcement on the same is however awaited.

Actor Suriya has so far completed a test shoot for Vaadivaasal and was last known to have bought two bulls to train for his character in the movie. The actor who also has Suriya 41 with director Bala in the pipeline is currently on vacation with family.
