Recently we had reported that Suriya filmed with Akshay Kumar at Chennai for the Soorarai Pottru Hindi remake and now the Tamil star himself has confirmed his cameo by sharing an image from the filming day. Taking to Twitter, Suriya wrote, "@akshaykumar sir to see you as #VIR was nostalgic! @Sudha_Kongara can see our story beautifully coming alive again #Maara! Enjoyed every minute with team #SooraraiPottru Hindi in a brief cameo!"

Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan are reprising Suriya, Aparna Balamurali's lead roles in the remake with Sudha Kongara returning for direction. Recently the movie's Hindi title was rumoured to be Start Up and one of the film's producers has stated that no title has been fixed without explicitly denying the said title.
