Tamil movie Vikram has been breaking records at the box-office all over and lead star, producer of the film Kamal Haasan released a special video today thanking his team and audience for this outpour of love. In its home-turf of Tamil Nadu (TN), Vikram released on a non-holiday Friday yet managed to set a new high record in opening weekend gross. The movie managed to rake in a whopping Rs. 67 Cr. in the first 3 days of release in TN.

Day 2 - Rs. 20 Cr.

Day 3 - Rs. 24 Cr.

Day 4 - Rs. 8. 85 Cr. (& counting)

Of this, the Chennai gross alone in the first 3 days is Rs. 5 Cr+ and on day 4, another Rs. 1.09 Cr. was added to the film's collections in the city. Vikram's 4 days collection in Chennai stands at Rs. 6.25 Cr. whereas its gross total in TN comes upto Rs. 76 Cr.+ and counting.
