Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan recently made his first public appearance at Delhi, ever since his eldest son Aryan Khan got embroiled in a drugs scandal. To the unversed, Aryan and his group of friends while travelling on a cruise were arrested and jailed for a while under the allegation that drugs were found on them, The incident had sparked a nation-wide interest especially over lack of evidence, changing stances of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and the growing allegations against the zonal team that handled this case.

Now in a chargesheet, the central NCB team to which the case was transferred has declared that said no drugs were found on Aryan Khan and there was no "substantial evidence" to charge him and five others. Senior lawyer Mukul Rohatgi, who represented Aryan Khan in court told the media that Shah Rukh Khan is "very relieved" over this clean chit.

It is worth mentioning here that since Aryan Khan's arrest on October 3 last year, a witness named Kiran Gosavi whose selfie with the youngster went viral was arrested in a cheating case, and then zonal chief Sameer Wankhede whose team questioned several people including actress Ananya Pandey, was removed from the NCB and put on vigilance probe for corruption.
