Simbu in Vetrimaran's Vada Chennai

Simbhu alias STR has grabbed another prestigious project. It is none other than Vetrimaran's Vada Chennai. After Vetri making a strong statement with Aadukalam, the industry has been waiting for this talented director to announce his next project. Karthi and Simbu were in contention for the lead role in this movie. It is now confirmed that STR will play the lead in Vada Chennai. Dhayanidhi Alagiri's Cloud Nine is producing the movie after delivering a Super Hit in the form of Mankatha. GV Prakash Kumar and rest of the key crew members from Vetri's past movies are expected to be retained as part of the wining team.

Simbu's stars are burning bright

Simbhu's Osthe will be releasing next week. Everything about Osthe (music, trailer, casting, etc.) is looking sharp. Both Vettai and Rajapattai have moved out of December release slots clearing the way for Osthe until Pongal. If Osthe can maintain the kind of pace seen in previous Dharani movies such as Ghilli & Dhool, it could be a sure-shot.  Now with Vada Chennai in the kitty, Simbu is finally emerging as a true star performer and a force to be reckoned with in the industry.
