Vijay starrer Beast which released in theaters on April 13, 2022 to mixed reviews has been doing well at the US box-office. The movie went on to become the second $1 million+ grosser for Vijay in the region. By doing so, Beast has placed itself in the top 10 best opening weekend collection by a Tamil movie in USA. 

Worth mentioning here that Rajinikanth continues to remain at the top of several US box-office records including this one. Besides Beast, Vijay starrer Mersal and Suriya starrer 24 are the only other non-Rajini movies in this list.
