2019 Telugu sports drama Jersey has been adapted in Hindi under the same name and the film starring Shahid Kapoor in the lead will be releasing in theaters on April 14, 2022. A new trailer for Jersey was unveiled today and the same can be seen here:

Jersey follows the story of a a worn-out, middle aged cricketer, who attempts at returning to the sport and the only thing to keep him going is his son's love. The Hindi version also stars Mrunal Thakur, Pankaj Kapoor among others and meets Yash starrer KGF: Chapter 2 and Vijay starrer RAW (Hindi version of Beast) at the box-office.

Allu Arvind is presenting Jersey in Hindi which is Dil Raju, S Naga Vamsi, Aman Gill and Bunny Vas. Director Gowtam Tinnanuri who wrote and directed the original has returned for the remake as well.
