Actor Rajinikanth took to Twitter today to support the return of daughter Aishwaryaa's return to direction after a gap of 9 years. The Superstar cheered on Aishwaryaa's work by releasing Payani, the Tamil version of the music video Aishwaryaa directed. Payani is crooned by Anirudh with lyrics by Viveka. The number is composed by Ankit Tiwari under Tips Tamil music label.

Telugu dance choreographer Jani and Shrasti Verma feature as actors in Payani, which is a joint presentation of Kumar Taurani, Prerna V Arora & Aishwarya Rajinikanth and is produced by Bay Films.
