Nelson Dilipkumar directed Beast is an upcoming action thriller starring Vijay in the lead which is scheduled to release in theaters this April, 2022. While an official confirmation on the release date awaits, it is highly anticipated that Beast will hit theater screens on April 14, 2022 for Tamil New Year. At this time, word is that Beast will have a trailer release in the first week of April.

Before that the movie will have an audio launch on March 20, 2022, an official announcement on which also awaits. Beast is produced by Sun Pictures and also stars Pooja Hegde, Selvaraghavan, Shine Tom Chacko, Aparna Das, Redin Kingsley among others. The film has Anirudh for music.
