Ajith Kumar's Valimai is currently doing extremely well at the Tamil Nadu box-office despite the mixed reviews that came the movie's way. The movie raked Rs. 100 Cr. in WW gross in just four days of release and Rs. 80. 6 Cr. of this is said to have been contributed by the TN box-office alone.

Valimai is currently in its 9th day of run and is still going strong in several areas of Tamil Nadu, its home turf. Talk in the trade is that if Valimai grosses Rs. 120 Cr. in the region, it will break even and be regarded as a 'profitable movie'.
