Harris Jayaraj has been MIA since Kaappaan in 2019 and after two plus years, the music composer is back in the news for taking up new movies. Reports are rife that Harris Jayaraj has come on-board actor Jayam Ravi's upcoming film with director M. Rajesh, producer Nemichand Jhabak and that an official announcement on the same will soon be made.

Harris Jayaraj had previously collaborated with M. Rajesh on Oru Kal Oru Kannadi. (2012) and with Jayam Ravi on Vanamagan (2017), Engeyum Kadhal (2011) and Dhaam Dhoom (2008). 

Additionally, Harris is in talks to be working on two Telugu movies. It is worth mentioning here that the composer also awaits the audio launch of 'Legend' Saravanan's debut movie and MovieCrow learns that the event will be held on a proper scale in February, 2022 if the pandemic situation normalizes by then.
