Ajith's Valimai is gearing up for a Pongal, 2022 release and fans have been eagerly awaiting the trailer of this action thriller. Word in the grapevine is that the movie will be clearing censor formalities by this weekend or early next week and once that is one, the trailer video and release date will be out. 

Actress Huma Qureshi recently took to her Instagram page to hint that the makers are confident of locking January 13, 2021 as Valimai's release date. Valimai directed by H. Vinoth will see Ajith play a cop and an incident in his family turns him towards a ring of illegal bike racers.

Huma Qureshi plays Ajith's teammate in the movie, which is produced by Boney Kapoor, Zee Studios and has Yuvan Shankar Raja for music.
