Back in August, we had reported that actor Sivakarthikeyan is all set to do a film with Vels Film International. This movie was expected to be the fifth Gautham Menon directorial from the banner, after Enai Noki Paayum Thota (2019), Kutty Story (2021) and the yet to release Joshua Imai Pol Kaakha, Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu.

However latest buzz suggests that director Madonne Ashwin of Mandela fame will be helming Sivakarthikeyan for Vels Film International. If one may recall, Sivakarthikeyan was one of the film personalities to unveil the trailer of then debutant Madonne Ashwin and it remains to be seen now, if the duo will end up teaming for a film.
