Actor Vijay's Beast which is an upcoming movie about gold trafficking, was initially shot in Georgia and latest we hear the team might be flying out to the Caucasian country once again for filming. Beast has completed 80% shooting so far and the team is likely to film a few climax fight scenes in Georgia.

Directed by Nelson Dhilipkumar, Beast has a major portion taking place inside a shopping mall, for which the crew shot in a set near Leela Palace hotel in Chennai. Art director Kiran had replicated Chennai's Forum Vijaya Mall, with actor Shine Tom Chacko playing hostage-in-charge and Vijay enacting the agent rescuing the situation. 

Beast also has Selvaraghavan in a negative role and Pooja Hegde playing female lead. The movie produced by Sun Pictures is expected to be a Summer, 2022 release and has Anirudh for music.
