Actress Kajol who wooed the Tamil audience in Minsara Kanavu (1997) and Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 (2017) will next be seen in a film which is inspired by a true story. Titled The Last Hurrah, this film will be directed by actress-filmmaker Revathy and is based on a real life mother named Sujata and her exemplary journey through challenging situations.

The Last Hurrah is written by Sammeer Arora and bankrolled by Suuraj Sinngh and Shraddha Agrawal under the banner Blive Productions and Take 23 Studios. The movie is currently in pre-production and will go on floors soon.
