Actor Prakash Raj and Vijay make for a dynamic on-screen duo and they have given the Tamil audience some memorable films like Ghilli (2004), Sivakasi (2005) and Pokkiri (2007). The hero-villain pair is all set to reunite since they were last seen together in  Villu (2009) and Prakash Raj himself has confirmed the same in a recent media interaction.

While the actor did not explicitly state any project details, it is presumed that he will be sharing screen space with Vijay in the latter's upcoming Thalapathy 66 (tentative title). Tollywood director Vamshi Paidipally is helming Vijay for the first time in Thalapathy 66 and the Tamil-Telugu bilingual is produced by Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations. 

Telugu star Mahesh Babu's daughter Sitara was briefly in the news for playing Vijay's daughter in Thalapathy 66, but it was quickly dismissed as a rumour. Thalapathy 66 is expected to go on floors once Vijay completes shooting for Beast with Sun Pictures.
