As reported previously, RC 15 (tentative title) was launched with an official pooja ceremony at Annapurna Studios today and the event was presided over by celebrities like Ranveer Singh, S.S. Rajamouli and Chiranjeevi among others. A pan Indian film directed by Shankar, RC 15 is Sri Venkateswara Creations' 50th production and stars Ram Charan, Kiara Advani in the lead.

Touted to be political thriller, RC 15 is said to Shankar's spiritual sequel to his 1999 Tamil movie Mudhalvan and will see Ram Charan in the role of an IAS officer. The film also stars Anjali, Jayaram, Naveen Chandra and comedian Sunil and has Thaman for music. The movie is expected to wrap shooting by Summer, 2022 and release in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
