The makers of Pushpa: The Rise, part 1 of the two-part Allu Arjun starrer had announced on Fahadh Faasil's birthday that the actor is playing villain in the movie. Mythri Movie Makers have now unveiled a first look poster for this character, an IPS officer named Bhanwar Singh Shekawat.

Fahad Faasil has gone all bald for the role and he looks menacing in the poster. Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa: The Rise also stars Rashmika Mandanna in lead and is scheduled to release in theatres on Christmas (December 25, 2021).

The movie follows the titular character who is a red sandalwood smuggler and has Devi Sri Prasad for music.
