Recently Sun Pictures announced that director Selvaraghavan, among many others has joined the cast of their upcoming production Beast, which stars Vijay in the lead. Selvaraghavan plays the main villain in the movie and it is being buzzed that actor Shabeer Kallarakkal may be roped in to play Selvaraghavan's son in Beast.

Shabeer, a Malayalam actor recently gained recognition among the Tamil cine audience as 'dancing rose' from Sarpatta Parambarai. It remains to be seen if the actor will get to work with director Nelson Dhilipkumar after being helmed by Pa. Ranjith.
